The first adaptation of this demon hunter came in 2005 and although it was not a bad movie, fans were somewhat disappointed that the plot was not faithful to the origins of this antihero, however, the character is about to get a second chance, that’s why Keanu Reeves will return as Constantine, this time to lead Justice League Dark.

Despite the first installment of Constantine hitting theaters 15 years ago, Warner Bros is thinking of reprising the character in a new sequel, with the supposed intention to later integrate him into Justice League Dark.

While nothing has been confirmed just yet, this seems like the right way to go. While Marvel and DC are competing to get Reeves into one of their movies, Warner Bros. may be the ones securing the actor with a Constantine sequel.

In essence the DCEU would be bringing the character back, as Keanu interpreted him, from 2005, and from that story the new sequel would emerge. Justice league Dark will then follow this movie and Keanu Reeves would again return to play this prominent character.
