Joaquin Phoenix won the Golden Globe for Best Drama Actor for his work in Joker and we wouldn’t be surprised if he took the Oscar as well.
The actor competed with Adam Driver for his work on the Marriage Story, as well as Antonio Banderas (Pain and Glory), Christian Bale (Ford v Ferrari) and Jonathan Pryce (The Two Popes).
Joaquin Phoenix becomes the second actor to obtain the Golden Globe for the role of the Joker, the first was Heath Ledger, who won the award for Best Supporting Actor for his iconic interpretation in Batman: The Dark Knight, from Christopher Nolan.
