After a long time waiting, Paramount is finally sounding the next installment in the popular ‘Star Trek’ saga. Noah Hawley has been hired to write and direct the next adaptation, which could include new faces, including Jennifer Lawrence having a big part of ‘Star Trek 4’.

Although the possibility of a reebot for the story was initially raised, in the end this idea was discarded, so the new installment will be a continuation of ‘Star Trek Beyond’, which means that Chris Pine and company will be in returning to star in a new adventure in outer space.

To make the film more impressive and to make sure that the older fans of the saga approve, the studio is preparing a great surprise, since, according to media outlets, Paramount will incorporate one more character from ‘Star Trek: The Original Series’, Number One will make its great appearance in this new installment.

Apparently, the studio already has the actress who will play Numer One, and according to sources, the chosen one is Jennifer Lawrence, so we will probably soon see the actress traveling through space aboard the USS Enterprise, although the actress will do a great job in the role, if she manages to reach an agreement with Marvel Studios or Warner Bros, as both producers are looking for her to join their respective universes.

Previously, this role had already been played by the actress, Rebecca Romijn, who also played Mystique in Fox’s first ‘X-Men’ trilogy, so if Lawrence got the role, this would be the second character that both actresses would share.

This is how Jennifer Lawrence would be in ‘Star Trek 4’ , however, there is still a long way to go for the film to hit the big screen and since Hawley has been having creative differences with Paramount, the film could still be delayed.
