A giant rumor about casting for Adam Warlock in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3’ has circulated on the internet and has gained more popularity. Now fans have high expectations because of it, so to clarify this misgiving the director of said film, James Gunn has released a statement, revealing to Marvel fans the truth.
The future of Warlock has always been an enigma, as a reference to his big screen debut was given in the post-credits scenes of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2’, this sparked a lot of speculation that he was going to be part of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ or ‘Endgame’, since his story in the comics is related to Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet. Unfortunately, we did not see him in either.

Now, with reports from various media such as The Illuminerdi, who stated that casting for Adam Warlock for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3’, had started and, Marvel was looking for “a thirty-year-old Caucasian man, who is described as both a ‘superhero type’ and a ‘Zack Efron type’.” It has given fans hope that they’ll see this superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), however, Gunn through his Twitter account, denied those rumors, calling out the website saying “where do you get this nonsense?“

At the moment, what is known is that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3’ will begin its recordings in 2021, although there is no specific date, in addition to its history being unclear, what is a fact is that part of the cast will participate in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’,which is currently in production in Australia, under the direction of Taika Waititi.
