One of the lost stars of Hollywood is Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith who began his career in an exceedingly promising way with his father, even starring in some films although later his strange behavior made him leave the industry. But it seems that the actor is still interested in returning to the show and according to some reports Jaden Smith wants to star in ‘Static Shock’.

During the last DC FanDome it was announced that Warner was interested in a live-action adaptation of the character of Static Shock, a not so popular hero, who has had an animated series with a good reception. Recently it was announced that Michael B. Jordan was going to be involved as a producer, but so far there is no leading actor or any possible release date.

According to reports, Jaden Smith wants to star in ‘Static Shock’. The young actor is interested in the role since years ago an adaptation with Jaden Smith as the main actor was sought after. The project was completely halted yet his enthusiasm for the role never ceased and is seeking to be taken into account for the position.

Jaden Smith’s career has been on a long hiatus since 2013’s ‘After Earth’ directed by M. Night Shyamalan, which was not well received by critics. Jaden’s work was also not highly regarded despite having worked on other projects with a good reception like the reboot of ‘The Karate Kid’ from 2010 with Jackie Chan or ‘The Pursuit of Happiness’ from 2006, so perhaps he is looking to return and what better way than within the genre of superheroes.
