Hulk, Tony, Marvel, Falcon, and Thor are some of the recent names from whom they have baptized newborns in Colombia, according to the National Registry. The reason for this particular situation that has occurred in several cities of the country is the premiere of the superhero movie “Avengers: Endgame.”

Since the first film that the Marvel Cinematic Universe premiered from Avengers, in 2012, the entity has logged the particular attention parents have had in using the famous protagonists as inspiration for the names of their children.

And the last film of the saga, which raised around 630 million dollars in its first weekend in billboards around the world, could not be the exception. Hulk Radamel and Thor William are some names being carried by Colombian children.

Due to the fact, the Registry has made some recommendations for parents to be careful and select the name of their children well, to avoid future problems such as bullying.

The entity made a list of the most repetitive names. There are 95 people who are called Tony Stark, and 555 others combined the name Tony with others more common in the country such as Rafael, Jesus, Alberto, Javier, and Junior. Falcon was also accompanied by other names like Dario, Steve, Matías and Anthony.

There are 10 people registered as Steve Rogers, as the character that embodies Captain America. And another 500 men combined that name with Brayan or Brandon. There were also others who preferred to choose Hulk Emerson, Hulk Jet-Li or Hulk Radamel, the latter name is also famous for the Monaco football (Soccer) forward, Radamel Falcao.

Other striking names that are part of the Registry list are Jaiden Stan Lee, Stan Lee Humberto, Rocket Reinaldo, Heimdall Thor, Horus Thor, Jorge Andrés Thor. And the women did not stay behind. There are 123 girls named Marvel in the country: Marvel Light, Evi Marvel, Nidia Marvel, Claudia Marvel, Britney Marvel, Marvel Aide.
