Courtesy of Festival Films, The Hole In The Ground, the horror movie by Lee Cronin. This is his debut in after a long time of making shorts like Through The Night, and Ghost Train. The Hole In The Ground stars Seán Kerslake (Can Not Cope, Will not Cope) and little James Quinn Markey (Vikings).

With a script by Lee Cronin and Stephen Shields (Mini Moguls, Republic of Telly), the film showcases Sarah O’Neill (Seána Kerslake), a young mother who lives in the Irish countryside, outside a small village of lumberjacks, with her son Chris (James Quinn Markey). Little by little, she begins to suspect that Chris’s strange behavior is linked in some way to a mysterious crater in the depths of the forest. And she even thinks that he is not her son. Is it possible that she is suffering from Capgras syndrome? The disorder that causes one to believe that one of their relatives has been replaced by a double? What if the Irish legend of the changed children turned out to be true?
