Heroic man catches a child falling from a fifth floor in midair. The honorable deed, which was widely shared on social networks, took place in a residential area of Jiangsu province, in eastern China.
According to the RTE News, the event unfolded last Thursday and the hero of the story was identified as Li Dehai.
In regards to the account told by that portal, the child, 2 years old, went out the window of an apartment and climbed onto an air conditioner platform.
People passing by realized that the child could fall from that height at any moment and quickly spread sheets to cushion the child’s fall.
In the viral video you can see the shocking instant when the small boy crawls over the air conditioning unit and moments later let’s go of the platform and falls to the ground. Fortunately, Dehai was focused and ready, caught him in midair, avoiding a major impact or harm to the child.
