In a move that seemed inevitable, this Wednesday Universal decided to postpone the premiere of Halloween Kills.
The next horror franchise movie was originally intended to be released in October this year, but now, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will not hit theaters on October 2021.
John Carpenter, the creator of the franchise, and Gordon Green, the director of Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills, confirmed that they had no choice but to delay the film by one year.
