According to The Illuminerdi website, their sources gathered information asserting that the studio is looking to cast “a thirty-year-old Caucasian man, who is described as both a ‘superhero type’ and a ‘Zack Efron type’.”
The description draws attention specifically to Zac Efron as the criterion, after all, the star known for High School Musical is one of the actors highest rated by fans to put on the Warlock mantle in the franchise.
The character, who was almost in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 but was cut in the end, is the result of a scientific experiment aimed at creating the perfect entity in the comics.
