A fan of the Game of Thrones series decided to start making a portrait of Daenerys Targaryen using a precise description from the author George RR Martin.
After sharing her design on social networks, the fans unanimously agree, her portrayed image is acurate.
According to the books, Daenerys is a beautiful girl, with the typical features of the Targaryen House: silver hair and violet eyes. At the beginning of Game of Thrones, she is the only woman of the last living members of the ancient Targaryen dynasty .
In the art work we obviously find the blonde hair (like all Targaryens). However, it should be noted that this Daenerys has purple eyes, which is not the case in the HBO series and the drawing represents her at a much younger age.
Here is what Daenerys Targaryen would have looked like if the showrunners had decided to follow the novels scrupulously.
