The actor who gave life to the iconic character in the saga of horror films that emerged in the 80s, joins the cast of the fourth season of the Duffer brothers’ series.
Actor Robert Englund, known for bringing the iconic horror character Freddy Krueger to life in the “A Nightmare on Elm Street ” saga joins the cast of the hit Netflix series ” Stranger Things .”

The actor will appear in the fourth season playing a man named “Victor Creel“, who, according to Netflix, “is a man who was admitted to a psychiatric hospital after committing a terrible murder in the 1950s.”
Stranger Things is known for being an “ode” to what the eighties were and all the impact it had on popular culture, accordingly, the arrival of Robert Englund serves to further reinforce this.
The good news is that Robert will not be the only addition, considering Netflix announced that seven new stars will be part of the fourth season. They include Jamie Campbell Bower (The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones), Eduardo Franco, Joseph Quinn (Overlord), Sherman Augustus (Westworld), Mason Dye (Teen Wolf), Nikola Djuricko and Tom Wlaschiha (Game of Thrones).

As for the fourth season, the production resumed work in October after the stoppage caused by the pandemic, it is expected to conclude in early 2021, hopefully, its premiere will arrive in October of the same year.
