Bruce Wayne is a rich American playa, all around good hearted, and owner of one of the most involved companies in the world, Wayne Enterprises.  Bruce saw his parents gunned down as a child.  Dr. Thomas Wayne is said to become Batman in an alternate universe where Bruce is the victim in the horrific shooting.  Also, in an alternate universe Martha Wayne becomes the joker instead of his son becoming Batman.  Bruce swore to avenge his parents by fighting crime.

However, this article is about Ben Affleck,  an actor who played Bruce Wayne. Coincidentally, it is also about the elaborate new phoenix tattoo on his back.  We would have all loved it if the ink on 90% of his back were that of a giant bat, or even a Matt Damon image would have been acceptable.  The public has seen this ex Batman actor with this tattoo before.  However, Affleck had tweeted that the tattoo was fake. Lately, Ben showcased his big ink again spurring plenty of backlash on Twitter.

The ex crime fighting bat showed off his back which displayed a colorful phoenix, in December 2015. The second sighting occurred during the filming of  a Netflix movie Affleck is working on called Triple Frontier with Charlie Hunnam, Oscar Isaac and Garrett Hedlund.

Indeed, you’re right. That is a huge vibrant bird trying to fly off of his back.  His ex wife Jennifer Garner stated “You know what we would say in my hometown about that? ‘Bless his heart,'” Garner told Vanity Fair. “A phoenix rising from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario? I take umbrage. I refuse to be the ashes.”

And now it is time to consider some alternative tattoos our ex bat vigilante could have considered.

This legit Batman tattoo is both colorful and big. Fans from all around the world would have been brought down to tears and joy if Batfleck would have chosen this one.  Maybe we should look at some majestic bird tattoos.

This tattoo of a powerful hummingbird spewing paint might have been more favorable to the public.  Male hummingbirds do a court dive which enables them to reach incredible speeds. Anything for a girl says this flappity flap flap avian.

Lastly, we can consider this phenomenal flying peacock.  Peacocks can’t fly but this design proves that they can travel through the air in a floating downward motion.  Ergo, flight.

Some say that Affleck’s tattoo is not real, it is only a prop for the Netflix movie.  Perchance, Affleck wants to inspire phoenix conservation practices. Save the birds, save the birds. Or, that we should all overcome our failures and rise from the ashes that is our flopped acting roles. To each his own I guess.
