The conflict between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard makes famous writer Stephen King a target for criticism.

The strong confrontation between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is far from over. Even months before the final verdict of the trial, the tension between the former couple is increasing. While the actor was let go from Fantastic Beasts, his ex-wife continues her career without any repercussions. Specifically, a new premiere where the actress is involved has brought the prestigious writer Stephen King into the fray.

On December 17, the miniseries The Stand will be released on CBS, based on a book by the famous novelist published in 1978. The production will is a horror-drama and takes place in an apocalyptic world involved in a dispute between good and evil. It has an important cast that includes Heard, in addition to James Marsden, Odessa Youn, Henry Zaga and Whoopi Goldberg, among others.

The incorporation of Depp’s ex-wife was what generated controversy amongst fans since, they are asking for the removal of Heard from Aquaman 2, they believe she should be withdrawn from any release just as Warner Bros did with the actor. Many of the fans were disappointed in King, because the controversial actress is participating in the show.

The reaction demonstrates their loyalty to the Pirates of the Caribbean actor. Fans recently organized to buy the fragrance he sponsors and signed a petition to remove Heard from Aquaman. The actress presently revealed that she is unfazed and will see this conflict through.
