The end of Game of Thrones did not please any of the followers. Although some did understand what was exhibited on screen, a certain number of fans simply loathed the finale of the series, particularly the treatment that Queen Daenerys received.

In a very nefarious way, they expressed it through social networks, throwing their jabs at the creators of the HBO series, accountable for writing and directing the final episode of the celebrated series.

Now, in a conversation with The Sunday Times, the actress Emilia Clarke, who rigorously played the “Mother of Dragons”, joined the fans who were not fulfilled with the outcomes.

“I knew how I felt when I first read it, and I tried, at every turn, not to consider too much what other people might say,” she explained. “But I did always consider what the fans might think — because we did it for them, and they were the ones who made us successful, so it’s just polite, isn’t it?” Clarke added.

Regarding the ending of the story of Daenerys, who received a stab from Jon Snow, the actress stressed that her discontent transpired with the way everything developed. Yeah, I felt for her. I really felt for [Daenerys] her, and yeah, was I annoyed that Jon Snow didn’t have to deal with something? He got away with murder — literally,” the actress explained.

Assuring that perhaps the series ended “too abruptly,” Clarke acknowledged that: “we could have spun it out for a little longer.”
