There was a lot of talk about a possible live-action Dragon Ball Z series. Apparently, the series could reach Disney +.

Since November of last year, a rumor emerged that Disney was working on a new live-action movie based on Dragon Ball Z, soon after a second rumor spread that it was going to consist of a broad cinematic universe. However, the rumor now is that it will be a live-action series headed towards Disney +.

Dragon Ball Z is one of the most successful franchises of all time, the story created by Akira Toriyama has conquered the hearts of several generations and is still etched in the collective memory. The first time Hollywood attempted to bring Dragon Ball to live-action was an absolute disaster, Dragonball Evolution is considered one of the worst anime-to-movie adaptations.

So far nothing has been confirmed about these rumors linking the anime to Disney +. The information is being passed around by several media outlets. But hopefully the information about Dragon Ball Z is reliable.

According to the information, the live-action movies discussed in November are ongoing, but the Dragon Ball Z live-action series will be a spin-off focused on Vegeta, the prince of the Saiyans, and will take place between the first and second film. The project is also said to be in the very early stages of development, so we must endure before procuring official news.
