The Endgame events meant the closure of several stories for various characters. For others, however, the penultimate movie from the third Phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brought about a change in appearance. A few weeks after the premiere of the film, Chris Hemsworth shared a complete guide on how to achieve the body that his character boasted in Avengers: Endgame or, as we have come to know him: Fat Thor.

In Endgame, Thor not only struggles with depression for having lost a battle with Thanos for the second time but for having lost his planet, half of his people, his half brother Loki, his mother and his best friend. So it is understandable that the god of thunder has “let himself go” a little.

Hemsworth shared on his Instagram account an advertisement made by Fandom.com in which they sell a “regime of how to gain weight”.

“I noticed a HUGE change in my body in just 5 years! With the help of pizza, beer and Fortnite, I gained the coveted ‘1 pack’ faster than a stroke of lightning! My co-workers tell me to cut back, I say ‘This beer, I like it, ANOTHER!’ “

There are many fun little details in the publication, including the endorsement of Dr. Stephen Strange, or a before and after picture of the God of Thunder.

The appearance of the son of Odin in the last film from the Russo brothers in the MCU drew much attention from the fans, who argued that it was not possible for a god to look like this. On the other hand, there were those who defended him under the premise that it was normal after what he had been through, he would lock himself in his own compassion.
