The actor Jared Leto has had important roles in big films, and in case you didn’t know, he’s even an Oscar winner. Yet in recent years his work has been overshadowed by the poor reception of his version of Joker in ‘Suicide Squad’, which he will reprise in ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’. But despite this stumble, he will have a second chance in the superhero genre as ‘Morbius’, it was also announced that he will star in a new installment of ‘Tron’, and apparently, it will not only be one movie, considering reports indicate that there is a trilogy for ‘Tron’ in the works with Jared Leto.
The 1982 film ‘Tron’ was a production that was not very relevant at the time, however, little by little it became a cult story for its special effects and innovative plot, finally, in 2010 there was a sequel, ‘ Tron: Legacy’. And despite having a relatively good box office result, there was no sequel. Now, after several years it was finally announced that we will see more about this virtual world and they are already preparing ‘ Tron: Ares’ .
According to new reports, Disney is preparing a ‘Tron’ trilogy with Jared Leto. Previously, there had been talks about a movie starring the actor, and apparently he reached an arrangement not only to star in a movie, but in a trilogy, which will explore this virtual world much further.
What we know so far is, Garth Davis will be in charge of directing ‘Tron: Ares’ with a script by Jesse Wigutow and only the participation of Leto has been confirmed, hence the production could take some time before finding the other actors who will join in this new story.
