5. The Ruins Of Belchite

It is said that if you are on the streets of the abandoned village of Belchite, Spain, at dusk, you will hear the plaintive cry of a child who cannot find his mother. In 1937, during the Spanish Civil War , thousands of civilians were killed. With no room for graves, the bodies were piled on the town square and set on fire.

4. Shackleton Hut

The hut was built by explorer Ernest Shackleton in 1907, in Antarctica. Years later, Sir Edmund Hillary visited the site and claimed to have seen Shackleton’s ghost walking towards him. The hut was listed as one of the scariest places in the world.

3. Chaonei Church

In Chaoyangmen, China, there is a place known as Chaonei Church. Her reputation for being haunted increased in 2014, after the house was used in a 3D horror movie. The ghost stories surrounding the place include the appearance of a woman who hanged herself and a British priest who tried to convert the house into a church.

2. Crathes Castle

In 2016, Bill Andrew took a photo of his daughter and other family members who were posing in front of Crathes Castle, near Aberdeen. Looking at the pictures later, his daughter spotted what appeared to be a figure standing behind them, inside a castle door. The Green Lady is one of the most famous ghosts who claim to be inhabiting the place.

1. Sculpture Garden

A Finnish laborer, who was considered a recluse, died in 2010 and everyone discovered that he was a talented artist when hundreds of sculptures were found in the forest behind his home. The place soon became a tourist attraction .

This may not sound so fascinating, until you realize that some of them have real human teeth and others have speakers planted inside, causing sounds of twittering to be emanated from the statues.
