Fans are always keen to find surprises or references to something they’re familiar with from their favorite movies and series. If you are a Game of Thrones and Lord of Rings fan, this is going to knock your socks off.
You’ve probably never noticed the presence of a mythical item in the series that has amazed many followers of the series. Surprisingly, Glamdring, Gandalf’s sword, is embedded in the Iron Throne, as you can see in the image below. Normally, this sword is seen in action during the Battle of the Black Gate in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
In addition, it should also be noted that the sword of Robin of Locksley, from the motion picture Robin Hood, is also encrusted in the Iron Throne.
