Dark Souls 3, many of the From Software games, stand out for their difficulty, which has caused a lot of players to rage quit, some have simply left the title unfinished and never picked it up again.
As players roam the world of Dark Souls 3 trying to anticipate every move and avoid dying, a mod can assist by bringing firearms into the Dark Souls world to make things simpler.
The Mod was made by Forsakensilver, and is available through Nexus Mods. It allows to you to equip your character with a series of assault rifles and other types of handguns.
“This mod replaced all the crossbows with automatic and semi-automatic modern firearms,” says its creator while adding that “All the crossbow animations are also adjusted with faster firing rate, prepartion time, new vfx and firing sound.”
He also notes that “All weapons (except sniper rifle) can switch between automatic and semi-automatic mode by dual-handing the weapon.” With all this, obviously, the game becomes easier to play, but on the video shared by the Mod creater, you can see it certainly looks fun to use.
