The actor, who will play The Penguin, stated that the script is beautiful and dark at the same time.
Colin Farrell took advantage of the Jimmy Kimmel show to talk about ‘The Batman’, he praised the script of Bruce Wayne’s latest adaptation. “I’m in the process of talking to Matt Reeves, who’s the director, who wrote the script, and wrote a really beautiful, dark, moving script, really gorgeous,” Farrell explained. “It’s all very hush hush,” he added, “but it’s a really beautiful script that he wrote and he has a real love for it, Matt.”
‘The Batman’ actor also explained that at the moment they are “in the process of finishing designing the aesthetic of the character.” Formerly, in some leaked photos he was seen holding a cain and posing exactly like The Penguin.
In the same conversation, Colin Farrell said he had received the blessing from Danny DeVito, who was the Penguin in ‘Batman Returns’ and with whom he has already collaborated on the Dumbo film. “Danny is a love. He did it. Someone sent me a link where he said I was a decent actor…”
