Thanks to a search using Google Maps, a user found the neighborhood from which the creators of GTA San Andreas relied on to make the memorable Grove Street.

Using Google Maps a YouTuber managed to make an extraordinary discovery that went viral on social networks. The user exploited the virtual navigation option on the streets of California in order to locate the neighborhood on which the creators of GTA San Andreas based their game on, without imagining that he would end up finding the place.

Although it was released in 2004, GTA San Andreas has a huge number of fans, who still play it to this day. This video game is highly remembered for its notable characters and its cities, which were inspired by popular cities in the United States.

The main setting of the story, is the place belonging to the protagonist Carl Johnson in the virtual city of Los Santos, a replica of Los Angeles, California. In that place is the memorable neighborhood where he was born, grew up, and has all his family and friends: Grove Street, located on Ganton Street.

For this reason, a fan of the video game decided to tour the streets of California, with the help of Google Maps and Google Street View, and accordingly search for the neighborhood that inspired RockStar Games to create this unforgettable place for GTA San Andreas.

After virtually navigating numerous streets, the internet user stumbled upon a street called Ganton, which dead-ended in a neighborhood with a huge round shape and no exit, such as the Grove Street neighborhood. He immediately began to analyze the place, thanks to the different angles that Google Maps offers.

The street has the same name and ends in a neighborhood with the same shape, in addition to being located in California. Therefore, this Gamer is now a legend amongst GTA fans for giving rise to the actual place that brings back scores of memories for many people.
