In recent years, studios are hoping to make better than mediocre movies based on successful video game franchises, although movies like ‘Resident Evil’ and ‘Assassin’s Creed’ have been despised by many fans, this has not stopped Hollywood from attempts like the series ‘Uncharted’ or the recently confirmed live-action ‘Metal Gear Solid’.
A few months ago it became official that the successful video game franchise, ‘Metal Gear Solid’, is about to receive its own live-action from the hands of the director of ‘Kong: Skull Island’, Jordan Vogt-Roberts, who has been saying that this project is done.
Of the little that has been shared about this undertaking, there are some conceptual arts that the director showed from the debut on the big screen of Solid Snake, that have left all the fans in awe. The excitement has been so fueled that the artists have created a live-action fan art of ‘Metal Gear Solid’, and since no one has been selected for the cast, why not have Henry Cavill and Christian Bale as the lead actors.
The fan art poster of the live-action of ‘Metal Gear Solid’ is of the highest quality, so much so that it could really be taken by a fan as an official reveal, since it presents characters from the series extremely well made by the artists. The poster includes: Snake , Big Boss, Gray Fox, Psycho Mantis, and Liquid Snake.
Very little is known about this live-action ‘Metal Gear Solid’, there is still no release date or official cast. What is a fact is that Vogt-Roberts also has plans for an animated series of the franchise, plus it has been revealed that it will feature the original voices of the game, so it seems that fans will not be left wanting.
