Social media has drawn attention in recent days to the story of Bridger Walker, a 6-year-old boy, who saved his little sister’s life by protecting her from a visciou dog who attacked them, which every wounded him in the face. In solidarity with the child, who ended up having a big scar, many artists have expressed themselves congratulating Bridger for his act of heroism, including Chris Evans, Captain America himself.
On her Instagram account, Bridger’s aunt, Nicole, posted a video where Chris Evans, embodying the character of Steve Rogers, demonstrates his admiration for the boy’s heroic act. Wearing a Captain America costume, the little boy receives news from the actor himself that he will obtain an authentic shield from the hero, because, in Evans’ own words, he deserves it.

It was the boy’s own aunt who asked the Marvel film artists, in another Instagram post, to speak out in support of their nephew – in that publication, she explained Bridger’s story and how he saved his sister. According to her, the boy said, after saving his sister, that if someone was going to die in the attack of the dog, it would have been him.
