In one of the episodes of ‘WandaVision‘, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) says that Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) was the only person who managed to get close to killing Thanos (Josh Brolin), indicating the level of power the Scarlet Witch posses.
However, Captain Marvel has already been on par with the villain in ‘Avengers: Endgame‘.
And according to Brie Larson, the heroine’s interpreter, she really is the strongest among the Avengers.
The star made the statement during an interview shared by Twitter user @valcarol.
In the excerpt, the interviewer asks:
“Who is the strongest of the Avengers? And why is it Carol Danvers?”
“I mean, obviously I think I’m the strongest one ‘cause that’s [laughs] I’m just gonna keep starting that rumor. Why is it Captain Marvel? I don’t know, I didn’t write it. This is just how it is. These are just facts. I don’t make up these facts,”
However, she admitted that her response is biased:
“I think Thanos cheated. I mean, listen, it’s such a fun game to play. I love the question ‘cause, you know, I obviously have a tongue and cheek thing with Chris Hemsworth about it because he’s very set that he’s the strongest one, so it’s all fun. I honestly think it’s whoever character you love is the strongest, but I’m biased so I’m gonna say it’s me.”
Remember that ‘Captain Marvel 2‘ is scheduled to debut in 2022. Recently, Deadline confirmed that actress Zawe Ashton (‘Doctor Who’) joined the cast of the upcoming sequel ‘Captain Marvel 2’.
The information indicates that Ashton will play a villain; however, details about the role have not been revealed.
The actress joins Brie Larson, who reprises the main heroine; Teyonah Parris, who returns as Monica Rambeau; and Iman Vellan , who will play Ms. Marvel .
