The actor Henry Cavill is gradually improving his career beyond the role of Superman from the DC Extended Universe, considering he’s also the protagonist of the Netflix series ‘The Witcher’ and has participated in the ‘Mission Impossible’ franchise. But a recent Henry Cavill fan art in ‘Assassin’s Creed’ allows us to imagine what the actor would look like in an adaptation of the video game.
The ‘Assassin’s Creed’ franchise began in 2007 as a video game where we learn about the adventures of Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, and given its great popularity, it included a good number of games, even jumping to the comics. Although in 2016, a film adaptation directed by Justin Kurzel and starring Michael Fassbender, was not well received by critics and audiences, also it prompted the cancellation of a possible sequel and franchise.

Through his social account, the artist Christ Ave related a fan art of Henry Cavill in ‘Assassin’s Creed’ playing Jacob Frye for ‘Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate’, one of the most important games of the franchise. Of course, it would be very difficult to expect some kind of reboot, since, after the sale of 20th Century Fox, the rights passed from some possible adaptation to Disney and perhaps the production company is not interested in any reboot given the poor results of the previous adaptation.
Henry Cavill, is currently recording the second season of ‘The Witcher’ and it is unknown if there will be a second part of ‘Enola Holmes’ where he can return to play the detective Sherlock Holmes, as well as his reprise as Superman for the DCEU.
