A crossover fans didn’t know they wanted will emerge with an action figure. On the one hand is Back to the Future, the classic science fiction saga that introduced us to the DeLorean turned into a time machine. On the other hand, Transformers, the Autobots vs Decepticon saga.
This new action figure will introduce us to Gigawatt, the Transformers version of the classic Back to the Future vehicle that was customized by Professor Emmett Brown.
As expected, this Autobot is filled with details recognizable by fans of the movie, including the date board and Flux Capacitor.
Of course, accessing this figure will not be exactly easy, since, usually, these toys turn collectibles relatively quickly. Some people buy them in bulk to later resell them at a higher price, known as Scalpers.
The company’s any announced that the new version will go on sale in October by Hasbro. If you do manage to get one in time, there will be no need for you to travel back to get one.
In addition, the IDW comic publisher will do a comic crossover that will mix both franchises, presenting a story in which Marty McFly must evade the Deceptions who want the Doc’s time machine. And in that scenario, McFly will be assisted by this new autobot called Gigawatt, which refers to one of the most classic phrases from the 1985 film.
The comic will feature four issues and will include a cover that obviously replicates the classic poster from the production led by director Robert Zemeckis.
