It is still uncertain who will be the main villain in the following phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. First of all, they have to be able to overcome the trauma Thanos wrought, however, it has been reported that Kang will be in phase 5 of the MCU.

It is reassuring to know that in the Marvel mythology there are still various enemies, some more dangerous than others that can become a strong threat.

Among them is Kang, the conqueror. This character had his first appearance in The Avengers #8 in 1968. He has become one of the main enemies of the Fantastic Four.

Kang the Conqueror, as he is known by his rivals, is a time traveler who wishes to manipulate the timeline in his favor and incidentally destroy superhero teams in his wake.

The cybernaut bases his theory on Newton’s Third Law of Motion, which states that ‘for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction’, putting this in the context of the MCU when the timeline is changed immediately a modification will arise.

With this dangerous capability, there is a chance that Kang will be in phase 5 of the MCU, according to a theory by a Reddit user.

Kang the Conqueror is the Phase 5 villain.

The above rejects the explanation given by the Supreme Sorceress to Bruce Banner in ‘Endgame’ which stated that if the stones are returned later, as well as anything they took from the past, there will be no repercussions in the future.

However if the Avengers inflicted havoc in the time line, Kang is going to show up in phase 5 of the MCU as a result of this mission.

Only time will tell how this franchise develops and what consequences will come up connected to ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
