The latest chapter of The Mandalorian quickly became one of the fan favorites because it finally exhibited the live action version of Ahsoka Tano, played by Rosario Dawson.
Also in this chapter, a major reveal was made when the real name of Baby Yoda and part of his past became known, but obviously this chapter opens the door to more stories, since it has now been reported that they are already preparing the Ahsoka Tano series due to the popularity of the character.
One of the most anticipated things in the second season of The Mandalorian was the appearance of the character, Ahsoka Tano. Despite being loved by fans, she never appeared in a live-action version, so there were high expectations about how she would be received, and the episode of “The Jedi” was hailed by fans as well as Rosario’s performance.
According to Daniel Richtman, he revealed that due to the popularity of the character, the Ahsoka Tano series is already being prepared for the Disney + platform.
Both Disney and LucasFilm have redoubled their efforts to follow the character in independent stories, which may not only be directly related to The Mandalorian, but to other Star Wars stories as well.
So far, it is not clear how important Ahsoka Tano will be in the other episodes of “The Mandalorian” or the third season, but it seems that it will be closely related to the evolution of Baby Yoda, and this may be the door for a solo series. This character could essentially help create a larger universe within the Disney + platform.
