Angelina Jolie, the Oscar-winning actress, is in talks with Marvel Studio to be part of the cast from the movie “The Eternals,” which will be directed by Chloe Zhao, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Better known as ” The Eternals,” Marvel’s new film project will adapt the story of the heroes from the comic books that were created by Jack Kirby, who have extraordinary powers and were created by cosmic beings called Celestials.
The details about the movie “The Eternals” and the character that will be played by Angelina Jolie is, for now, kept in secret.
“The Eternals ” is one of the projects that Disney is preparing for the future of Marvel Studios, which will close an ongoing stage with the premiere of “Avengers: Endgame”.
Chloe Zhao, whose works include “The Rider” and “Songs My Brothers Taught Me,” joined in September as director of “The Eternals”; also, Matthew and Ryan Firpo as writers of Marvel’s feature film.
It should be noted that Angelina Jolie will return to the big screen in October 2019 with the sequel to “Maleficent.”
