Most of us have gone through the teenage phase at some point in our upbringing. Taking advantage of The Mandalorian’s success, and especially the popularity their favorite character Baby Yoda amassed, Disney rumored to premiere a series about Yoda, during his terrible teenage years.

This scuttlebutt might not go past this article, oh well. Teen Yoda will arrive at Disney+ this year. The producer has recognized that there will only be a few seasons because “Yoda in his adolescence is a wreck, he uses the force to slam doors and there’s always a possibility that at any moment he’ll provoke something really problematic.”

Marco Teixeira

The director of the series has given some details to incite the fans appetite. “Teen Yoda does not leave the galaxy in any chapter, in fact he does not leave his room at any time,” they said. “Already in the first chapter, The Mandalorian removes the hinges from the door of his room after noticing that he doesn’t come out to socialize. It is a moment of great emotion and seriousness.”

Vincent Chambin

In a leaked section of the script, The Mandalorian, who has decided to raise Teen Yoda until he finds his original home says in a worried tone:

“He is now in his teenage years and his humor and attitude are unbearable, but what worries me most is that he tells many lies that he himself ends up believing. He lies about his friends, the class assignments and homework, spreads gossip, gets other people into trouble and causes them to end up fighting. All of this is even more challenging due to the fact that he speaks in reverse.

At school they have given him various types of referrals and even suspended him on a couple occasions. I’ve talked to him, he promises to change, that he is sorry, he asks for forgiveness, but nothing changes, sometimes it gets worse.

I don’t know if all the other teenagers from the same species are the same way, but I have given up, I can’t with him and his intolerable attitude. He is my son and I adore him, but every day he tries my patience. He used to be cute like Gizmo now he’s not, he’s more like the ugly Gremlins.”

Arturo Velazquez Rodriguez

If this new series is successful, Disney will release another, an even more emotional one, where Grandpa Yoda spends his retirement days raising his grandaughter Yoda.
