The presence of the villain in the MCU could arise in the new Marvel Studios production.
The first appearance of Doctor Doom in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) could be closer than expected. The debut of the villain from Fantastic 4 will take place in the WandaVision series, which will premiere on the Disney Plus streaming service.
According to Sheila Knox, an actress who will have a small role in the series, the WandaVision production could show the city of Doomstadt, Latveria, the birthplace of Doctor Doom.
In addition, she confirmed that the production will record in the town of Helen, Georgia, which will serve as a location to show the place of origin of the villain. The small town offers a perfect look to the setting and would not require props.
WandaVision is filming near Atlanta at Pinewood Studios in Georgia, so the idea of the production taking over a small town in Helen is not far-fetched.
