Zack Snyder and Jared Leto, involved in the new version of Justice League, will be working together on an individual project about the Joker.

Like an arrow from a bow, the Justice League: Snyder Cut film is approaching. Fans are getting hyped up, and even more after Zack Snyder released the first look ar the new version of Jared Leto’s Joker for the film.

This new version with a noticeably darker tone seems to be working relatively well both the actor and the director. And, according to an anonymous source from SmallScreenUK close to DC Films, Snyder and Leto will be working on an individual project associated with the Joker.

The premiere of Jared Leto’s Joker arrived in Suicide Squad (2016), but it didn’t turn out to be what audiences expected from the character. However, the actor will have another opportunity with Justice League: Snyder Cut, where it appears we will see something intense on par with what fans have been asking for.

The anonymous source of SmallScreenUK mentioned the following about the future of the shared Joker project from Snyder and Leto:

‘What I can tell you is that Jared and Zack are working on developing a standalone Joker story together to be made into a future movie. Things are very, very early days at the moment, but they’re very excited about the idea. ‘

The source has also stated that this project might not necessarily be a film, but that it can come through other means:

‘As it stands, this idea is for a solo Joker movie, but it could very well end up being a TV series. I’ve even heard rumours that they might release this story as a graphic novel. That’s something that both Zack and Jared are very interested in doing.’

The information comes to us from an anonymous us source, so we’ll just have to wait and see if it actually plays out.
