The directors of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ are still looking for ways to work with the talented actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and there will soon be a new movie by Robert Downey Jr. and the Russo brothers.
The filmmaking duo have collaborated with Chris Hemsworth on ‘Extraction’ and will soon release ‘Cherry’ starring Spider-Man actor Tom Holland.
But, as they develop various projects with the Avengers stars, there is one that will be a particularly interesting reunion which is getting closer to completion.
Anthony Russo and Joe Russo will return to work with Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. in the near future.
The directorial duo has worked hard despite the closure of Hollywood due to the coronavirus pandemic, developing projects that they have announced on their AGBO channel that they will carry out in the future.
In April, Joe Russo presented a list of ideas that encompassed the previous Marvel actors, the directors were questioned about the new Robert Downey Jr. movie, and the Russo brothers replied that “it won’t be long ” for them to reunite with the man who played Tony Stark.
As for the nature of the project, the directors can’t share it yet, but it’s only a matter of time before they begin to work on it.
Meanwhile, they’ve been working hard on ‘Cherry’ with Tom Holland, in addition to ‘Relic,’ a horror movie featuring ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ star Jake Gyllenhaal as the associate producer.
The Russo brothers will present their latest episode of ‘Russo Bros. Pizza Film School’ with special guest Taika Waititi this Friday on the AGBO channel on YouTube.
