According to the latest reports, DC has confirmed that the HBO network wants Ben Affleck, Jared Leto and Joe Manganiello for a new Batman project that will be released through HBO Max.
Additionally, Affleck is believed to be in talks to become the director for the Zack Snyder production.
According to the information that has been disclosed, the Batman movie or miniseries with Ben Affleck will have Arkham Asylum as part of its narrative.
The asylum will include several Bat villains like Joker and Deathstroke, which means that the participation of Jared Leto and Joe Manganiello will be inevitable, as suggested by the Justice League post-credits scene.
At the moment there is no official announcement from the studio, but the fandom still has hope. Much of the supporters have placed all their expectations on the premiere of Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Snyder assured that his version will be a completely different experience from the one seen in theaters.
