The image of the actor’s performance by the fandom has been causing a sensation on social networks.
For most fans, it would be a dream come true to be able to see the MCU and X-Men franchises together in the same universe. So, given that Hugh Jackman has refused to return to the role, they have proposed a large number of actors to play Wolverine. The latest surprise in this group is Jack Black, so much so that even the fandom was encouraged to create what he would look like as the character.
While the popular comedian has starred in countless films, it’s pretty hard to imagine him in the superhero genre, all the more so in the role of one of the most popular mutants who has only been portrayed by Hugh Jackman in a masterful way.
Through Twitter it was shown how the actor would look in the “stretchy pants” of Wolverine, after the Jumanji star published a photo with a figure of the Red Hulk. Followers of the actor began to mention that his bearded face and long hair fit perfect and there is no difference between him and the X-Men leader. Illustrator @JimmerUK revealed the impressive image of this handsome legend as Wolverine.
You know what… it could just bloody work. pic.twitter.com/NpbKUur9ky

The illustration has been very well received, but this has not been the first time we’ve seen an awkward request for an actor to take on this role, at one point, signatures were collected for Danny DeVito to join the MCU for the same character.

So the responses to this so far are unanimously positive. Someone please make it happen. I'm all for fresh takes on casting

There's literally only one reason not to. I already had a meltdown seeing Kumail get absolutely ripped. I really think I'd explode if Jack Black suddenly got buff for a superhero role.

It’s also the kind of role where you need someone who could believably go from killing machine to middle school teacher.

Dude. If you got Jack Black ripped like Chris Pratt did for JP/Marvel, then you might be on to something. He’s a really good actor (when he can be restrained). The biggest issue, oddly enough, is probably his age.

Give us the scruffy weirdo Wolverine we deserve!

I think you’re onto something there. It would definitely be closer to the comic books.
