While sitting with Today’s Al Roker mid-June Stan Lee mentions that he is working on a new superhero. Roker asks, “Are you still thinking about superheroes?” Stan Lee responds, “I have a new one coming out in a year or two called The Annihilator just you remember you heard that.”

According to angryasianman.com The Annihilator has been in the works since 2013 and the actor starring in the movie has already been chosen. Taiwanese American singer-actor Wang Leehom will star as the hero in Magic Storm Entertainment’s movie adaptation of Annihilator.

Annihilator tells the story of a young Chinese prisoner, Ming, who endures a dangerous genetic procedure that gives him extra ordinary super powers. He proceeds to use those abilities to take down bad guys using Qijong and martial arts, which he learned as a result of his family traditions. Qijong is a holistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation used for health, spirituality, and martial arts training.

Based on the comicbook series, Ming must choose between remaining in prison or enlisting in a secret U.S. super soldier program. After a backbreaking gauntlet of experiments and tests, he survives and enlists in the super soldier program to help in kicking bad guy butt.
