After the divided opinions about the new animated series of the Thundercats, now several reports assure that the adventures of Lion-O and its humanoid feline teams from Thundera will have for the first time, a real action series that will be produced by Netflix and directed by Michael Bay.
But that is not even the best part, the film will star Ryan Reynolds, the Canadian actor known for his endearing role as Deadpool, his triumphant return to the world of comics after his Green Lantern film.
As far as we knew Michael Bay, Dave Franco and Ryan Reynolds were working on a new project entitled ‘Six Underground’, which allegedly address the story of six billionaires who fake their deaths to fight evil, or at least that’s what they want us to believe, because according to a source at IGN Middle East , this story was just a cover for another project.
Other actors involved are Dave Franco, Mélanie Laurent, Ben Hardy, Corey Hawkins, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Adria Arjona. But now all the information points to the fact that the project is a secret movie about ThunderCats. The budget is 150 million dollars, one of the highest in Netflix plan, they are wanting to turn it into a saga.
The new series from Netflix, until now is still known as “Six Underground”, will begin shooting in the summer of 2019, so we have enough months to confirm if it is a Thundera project, or we all get excited for nothing.
