Just like their wild genetic relatives, domesticated cats are great hunters able to stalk their prey and attack with significant sharpened  claws and teeth. Cats are specifically impresive at night, when their light-reflecting eyes grant them the ability to see better than most of their victims. Cats also possess super hearing. All cats are nimble and quick and dexterious, and it is now known that their tails aid in their ninja like balance.

National Geographic states that in the wild, under primal circumstances, a small cat would ordinarily retreat from a larger opponent,  but domestic cats have a tendency to stand against animals 30 times their proportion. You will see crazy examples of that in this video.
